We are not going into the locus of the Petitioner at this stage. We are not entertaining this Writ Petition, by which, the Petitioner has sought action against a Cooperative Bank, Respondent No.6 herein.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that, the Chief Executive Officer of the Cooperative Bank has been unauthorizedly given an extension beyond the retirement age. The Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Nashik has
7551.24wp (2) addressed a communication dated 27/08/2018 to the Commissioner (Cooperation) and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Maharashtra State Pune, stating therein that the selection and continuation of the Chief Executive Officer is not in tune with the Rules.

The complaint of the Petitioner addressed to the Reserve Bank of India, dated 30/03/2024, is placed on record. We would only expect the Reserve Bank of India, Respondent No.2 herein, to deal with the said complaint of the Petitioner by following the due procedure, as may be permissible in law and communicate the decision thereon to the Petitioner within 90 days from today.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
