As directed by this Court, the applicant has filed an undertaking to the effect that if the compensation amount is enhanced in his appeal, the applicant will not claim interest and other statutory benefits of delayed period.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in connected matters, this Court has already condoned the delay even without asking the claimants to furnish the undertaking. 3.

Learned A.G.P. appearing for the respondents strongly resisted the application since there is huge delay of 2890 days caused for filing the cross objection.

In view of the above, delay is condoned by accepting the undertaking of the applicant to the effect that the applicant would not claim interest and other statutory benefits of delayed period. Civil application is disposed of.
