The learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.P. submits that the application of the petitioner, for issuance of caste certificate is rejected on the ground that there are some deficiencies in the application. 2.
The Sub Divisional Officer has to decide the application on its own merits on the basis of documents filed before it. 3.
In light of that, the impugned order is set aside. The Sub Divisional Officer shall decide the application filed by the petitioner, for issuance of caste certificate in accordance with the rules expeditiously, preferably within six weeks.

Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
