This is an application for condonation of delay of 154 days caused in filing appeal by the Acquiring Body under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 2.

It is stated that official procedures in the matter consumed time beyond the prescribed period of limitation. 3.

It is contended that the delay is bonafide and unintentional. The contents of application are supported by the documents. The contesting respondent No.1/land owner has not filed reply. Although, learned counsel for respondents opposes the application strenuously, having regard to the

39-ca-11540-2024 reasons mentioned in the application, in my considered opinion, the delay deserves to be condoned. Hence, delay of 154 days caused in filing appeal is hereby condoned. 4.

Civil Application is disposed of.
