Mrs. Mahajan, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for more than 4 years the proposals seeking approval to the appointments of the petitioners are pending and the same are not yet decided.

Learned AGP submits that in case proposals are pending the authority will decide the same in accordance with law.

In case proposals (Exh. L) are pending with Education Officer seeking approval of their appointments, then the Education Officer shall decide the same, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within six months.

Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
