This is the second round of litigation at the instance of the petitioner.

The frst round of litigation (Writ Petition No. 6709/2022) stood terminated by an order of this Court granting liberty to the petitioner to explore the alternative remedy provided by the contractual terms and conditions.

Availing the liberty granted by such order, the petitioner claims to have submitted a representation dated 11th July, 2022 before the Grievance Redressal Committee of the Food Corporation of India. Raising the grievance that such representation has not been disposed of, this writ petition came to be instituted on 20th July, 2022 seeking inter alia directions on the Food Corporation of India to dispose of the representation within such time as may be fxed by this Court. 4.
At the hearing, we are informed by Mr. R. S.
Deshmukh, learned senior counsel for the petitioner that a communication dated 21st July, 2022, has been received by the petitioner from the Corporation whereby it has been requested to attend a meeting of the Committee on 4th August, 2022 at 3.00 pm in its zonal ofce (West).

In view of such communication, the purpose for which this writ petition was instituted has worked itself out and nothing survives for decision. 6.
The petitioner shall be at liberty to present itself for personal hearing before the Committee on the

scheduled date and time. After personal hearing, the Committee shall not waste much time in disposing of the representation, one way or the other, in accordance with law.
