It is submitted that against the order of the Sub-Divisional Officer, rejecting application of the petitioner Nos.1 to 3 for issuance of tribe certificate, the appeal is pending with the Committee. Since the year 2014, the same is not yet decided. The petitioner Nos.4 to 8 assailed the order of Sub-Divisional

We have heard Mr.Patil, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.Pulkundwar, learned A.G.P.

In case the appeal is filed by petitioner Nos.1 to 3 and same is pending with Respondent No.2 then the Respondent No.2 shall decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably by end of April 2018.

We are not inclined to entertain the petition so far as petitioner Nos.4 to 8 are concerned as petitioners have assailed the order of Sub-Divisional Officer, the petitioners have alternate remedy of filing substantive appeal before the Respondent No.2 Committee. The petitioner Nos.4 to 8 are at liberty to file appeals before the Respondent No.2 Committee. In case the appeals are filed within two (2) weeks from today then the Committee shall decide the same by end of April 2018.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
