Leave granted to add scrutiny committee as a party respondent no. 3. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. 2.

The petitioner is before us in following circumstances : I) The petitioner has obtained a tribe certificate of Tokre Kole. When it was submitted to the scrutiny committee for validation, it has raised an objection that it is not in the proper form and even there is spelling mistake in describing the tribe.

II) The original certificate has been retained by the committee and directed the petitioner to obtain a fresh certificate from the competent authority in the prescribed form with correct spelling. 3.

We dispose of the writ petition with following directions :

2 WP / 7109 / 2024 I) The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 15 July 2024.

II) The committee shall return the original tribe certificate to him, which he shall produce before respondent no. 2 - competent authority within a week thereafter with an online application for receiving a fresh certificate in form 'C' with correct spelling of the tribe. III) On such application being furnished, respondent no. 2 shall issue a fresh certificate as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two weeks of tender of the application. [ SHAILESH P.
