The learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that irrespective of the prayer clause, the petitioner would be contended if its proposal for starting a M.S.W. course is considered by the respondent No.3 on its own merits at the earliest.

He also points out the order passed by this Court in the matters of few other similarly placed institutes in Writ Petition No.6580/2020 Shri Sant Damaji Appa Charitable Trust Arkhed Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others and connected matter decided on 02.11.2020, wherein, even there is a reference to the order passed in similar matter at Nagpur bench. 4.

Even in the affidavit-in-reply in paragraph No.8 the respondent No.3 has expressly mentioned that the proposal for starting M.S.W. course is pending with the Department of Social Justice for decision. The proposal is seems to be pending since last many years.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.3 to take a decision in respect of petitioner's proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within eight weeks.
