Heard Mr. Shembole, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Borulkar, learned APP appearing for the respondent-State.

One Pandhari Sangram Dopewad, employee of Municipal Council, Degloor lodged complaint to the police station alleging that, on 11.06.2017 at about 3 p.m. when he and his colleague were discharging their public duty i.e. they were cleaning the drainage at that time present applicant and another accused caused deterrence to the informant. Applicant No. 1 assaulted the informant on his head by means of iron rod and applicant No.2 assaulted the informant by pelting brick on his chest, abused him on cast and gave threats to kill him. On the basis of the information, offence came to be registered against the applicant at Cr. No. 285/2017 with Degloor police station District Nanded.

I have perused the papers of investigation from which it appears that, the informant had sustained three simple injuries and after treatment he was discharged. Statement of all material witnesses are recorded and practically investigation is over. Considering the nature of the offence and the fact that the accused is behind the bars since 13.06.2017 he can be enlarged on bail. Hence,

O R D E R

(1) The applicants shall be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 285/2017, registered with Degloor Police Station, District Nanded, on their executing P.R. Bond of Rs. 5,000/- [Rs. five thousand only] each with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(2) The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner.

(3) The applicants shall attend the police station once in a month i.e. on Sunday between 12 noon to 2 p.m., till filing of the charge-sheet.
