The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending, the same is not yet decided. On the contrary, letter is issued to the petitioner on 06.07.2017 that it will take some time to decide the said proceeding.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all the respondents.

In case the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent / scrutiny committee, then the respondent / scrutiny committee shall endeavour to decide the said proceeding on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight (08) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 16.07.2019.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
