Mr. Kedar, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authorities claiming the benefit of leave encashment.

The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty as aforesaid. In case such an application is made by the petitioner, the authorities shall consider it on its own merits in accordance with law and policy expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of application.
