We have heard the learned APP on behalf of the applicant. None present on behalf of the respondent. 2.

This application has been preferred by the State for seeking cancellation of bail granted by this Court to the respondent, vide order dated 29-01-2015 in Criminal Application No. 6447 of 2014 in Criminal Appeal No. 717 of 2014. Though the learned APP has made a strenuous effort to convince us to consider this application, we find that no purpose would be served in deciding this application after five years and nine months of granting of bail to the respondent. The appeal is of 2014 and it will be purposeful to have the appeal decided expeditiously.

In view of the above, Criminal Application No. 3756 of 2015 is disposed off.
