The Petitioners in this petition are seeking benefit of promotional scale / one step increment (Ekstar) from the date of their postings in tribal area till they were working in such an area. 2.

We find that the Petitioners have not approached the Respondent No.5 till date for such relief and directly this writ petition has been filed invoking writ jurisdiction.

In that light, the Writ Petition is disposed of by permitting the Petitioners to make a representation regarding their grievance before the Respondent No.5/ Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Dhule within two weeks from today. If such representation is filed before the

( 2 ) 941 wp 8618.25 Respondent No.5 within the said period of time, the said Respondent shall consider and dispose of the representation on merits within six weeks of receipt of the representation, in accordance with law and in the light of orders passed by this court considering the claim of employees under one step increment (Ekstar) scheme in the light of Government Resolutions dated 06.08.2002 and 29.02.2024. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
