In both these applications, the original complainants pray for listing the Writ Petitions for final hearing as they are pending for fifteen years and a service dispute is involved. Learned AGP has no objection.

It is informed that these applicants/employees were subsequently terminated by the petitioner/State. They preferred Complaint (ULP) No. 48/2005. By the judgment of the Labour Court, the Complaint was partly allowed and these workers were granted retrenchment compensation in lieu of reinstatement. Both the parties preferred Revision (ULP) Nos. 9/2007 and 10/2007, under Section 44. The Revision filed by the state was alone allowed thereby dismissing

the complaint. These two workers have, therefore, filed Writ Petition Nos. 6796/2007 and 594/2008, arising out of the same judgment. Hence, they can be tagged with these petitions for final hearing. 3.

The learned AGP submits that these petitions can be taken up together.

As such, both these Civil applications are allowed. Writ Petition Nos. 4556/2003 and 4557/2003 shall be listed for final hearing along with Writ Petition Nos. 6796/2007 and 594/2008, on 27th September, 2018.
