The petitioner who claims to be an association of Motor Vehicle Owners has filed this petition objecting to the Government Resolution to set up an office of the ARTO at Udgir dated 15.03.2024. 2.

The very nature of the prayer is unmindful of all the issues which must have prevailed over the State Government in setting up the office. It is merely because of the wishes of the petitioner association cannot be allowed to raise any objection to the setting up of the ARTO Office at Udgir, at least, there does not seem to be any research undertaken before filing the petition except the distance criteria. This Court in exercise of the powers under Article 226 cannot indulge in examination of the policy decision of the State Government. 3.

The writ petition is dismissed.
