This petition is filed seeking directions to the Respondent Authorities to consider the name of the petitioner from NT (C) category instead of TWFS category.

Pursuant to the notices issued to the Respondents, Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 have filed the affidavit. In para 7 of the said affidavit, it is stated that in the option form filled in by the petitioner, he has opted for 92 choices of courses
and institutes, all the options are from TFWS seats and hence he is considered for allotment of TFWS seats only. If he changes his options while participating in the fourth round and opts for other non TFWS choices which have different choice codes, then he will be considered for allotment of seat reserved for his category or for open category; as per resultant vacant seats.

The learned A.G.P. appearing for the Respondent/State invites our attention to the Clause 9(3) of the Information Brochure for Admission to Under Graduate Technical Courses (2016-17) and submits that for for IV round, the candidates are allowed to fill in or edit the already filled in online option form. In his submission even the petitioner is entitled to change his choice and can opt for admission from N.T.(C) category.

In the light of the averments in para 7 of the affidavit in reply and the Clause 9(3) i.e. Conduct of CAP Round-IV in the Information Brochure for Admission to Under Graduate Technical Courses (2016-17), the petitioner can change his choice by filling in Online application
form, however, the seats allotted in pursuance of exercising such choice would be governed by the conditions laid down in the said Clause 9(3). In that view of the mater, the petitioner will be entitled to fill in the Online application for change in option and also category.

The learned A.G.P. appearing for the Respondent/State submits that in case, the petitioner faces any difficulty, Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 would extend full co-operation to the petitioner to remove the difficulties.

In the light of above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
