After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit detail representation with supporting documents before the State Government for invoking the powers under section 45 (2) (4) of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949.

With the aforesaid liberty, the petition is allowed to be withdrawn.

Needless to state that in case the representation is submitted by the petitioner, the competent authority of the State Government shall look in to it and shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
