We have considered the submissions of the learned advocates for the respective parties in the civil application. Shri Girase, the learned advocate representing the University and the learned A.G.P., have vehemently opposed this civil application. 2.

We find that the petitioner is questioning the appointment of the new Vice Chancellor of the University. The appointing authority is the Hon'ble Chancellor. The decision to select and appoint has been taken by the Hon'ble Chancellor.

In view of the above, this civil application is allowed. The amendment be carried out within two weeks.

The freshly typed amended copy of the petition memo, would be placed on record within the same time line. 5.

The respondents are at liberty to file their affidavits in reply/additional affidavits, if any, to meet the entire contention of the amended petition, on or before 15.02.2023. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, be filed on or before 20.02.2023.
