This Court, by order dated 18/02/2025, granted interim protection to the applicant subject to the deposit of an amount of Rs. 4,27,410/- before this Court within four weeks, to show his bona fide. Thereafter, by order dated 18/03/2025, further four weeks' time was granted. However, the applicant has failed to deposit the amount as directed. 2.

Considering the same, and in view of the fact that the present applicant is prima facie the beneficiary of the misappropriated amount of the Grampanchayat, which was transferred to his account using a cheque with a forged signature, no case is made out for granting anticipatory bail. The application is, therefore, dismissed.
