Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. He pointed out that the election was of the year 2020 and the term of the Gram Panchayat is already over.

In view of that, I am not inclined to consider merits of the matter, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of. However, in case petitioner got elected and anybody raises dispute about encroachment made by the petitioner on the Government land, the same shall be considered afresh by the Competent Authority.
