Learned AGP brings to the notice of this Court the provisions contained under section 232 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code which provides a remedy for restoration of the proceedings that has been dismissed in default.

In the present case, petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 28.11.2023 by which the proceeding has been dismissed for want of prosecution, particularly, for not taking steps against one of the respondents.

In that view of the matter, writ petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file the application in terms of section 232 (3) of the Maharashtra land Revenue Code.
