1] This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to the respondent no.3 - committee to take decision on the caste validation proposal of the petitioner pending with the scrutiny committee as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from today and it is accordingly directed. 2] The petitioner makes a grievance that as a result of his failure to submit validation certificate, he has not been granted registration for the next academic year.

WP 7261/16 - 2 - 3] The respondent no.2 is directed to grant registration on fulfillment of other necessary requisite conditions and without insisting for submission of validation certificate.

The registration of the petitioner for the ensuing academic year and prosecution of further studies shall be subject to outcome of the validation claim in respect of the certificate issued to the petitioner pending with the scrutiny committee. 4] With the directions as above, writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
