DATE : 26/07/2017 PER COURT :- Having heard both sides, we find that the essential controversy is covered by several orders of this Court. If at all there is any spelling mistake in the caste/tribe certificate, validity certificate the same should be corrected by the competent authority. In this case, there is a caste validity certificate issued to the petitioner. The entry in relation to the tribe is correctly referred, however, the spelling is incorrect. Instead of "W" the alphabet "V" should appear. This is a clerical or arithmetical error which is capable of being corrected and neither the committee nor its official can take hyper technical view. We direct them to issue correct validity certificate and with the spelling "Mannervarlu", within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
