By Civil Application No.794/2022 in Contempt Petition No.97/2021, the applicants seek leave to bring legal heirs of deceased petitioner No.1, on record. This civil application is filed within limitation.

For the reasons set out in the application, the same is allowed.

The learned A.G.P. submits that, he has forwarded a communication dated 08/09/2022 to the five different Departments with reference to the pending contempt petitions, involving either of these Departments. It has been conveyed to these Departments in the light of the discussion during the course of the hearing of the contempt petitions earlier, that, the Departments should either acquire the orders, which would restrain the petitioners from seeking payment of dues or make an arrangement for obeying the directions of this Court, till 31/12/2022.

The learned A.G.P. has also conveyed to the Departments that, a group of review applications, filed by the Departments, were dismissed by a common Judgment and order dated 30/08/2020.

By a communication dated 15/09/2022, the Deputy Secretary Smt. Leena Sankhe, has informed the learned A.G.P. that, the Government will take appropriate steps with regard to the orders passed by this Court, for obtaining stay orders, lest, by
(3) 31/12/2022, necessary corrective steps will be taken, if no stay is obtained.

These two communications (3 pages) are taken on record and marked 'X-1' collectively for identification. 8.
The learned Advocate for the petitioners is satisfied that, if the Departments are unable to obtain orders from the Hon'ble Supreme Court, they would make the payments of the petitioners, on or before 31/12/2022. She, therefore, submits that, these petitions can be disposed off.
