The petitioner's proposal is awaiting adjudication by the committee for validation of her tribe certificate since May 2023. 3.

The learned advocate for petitioner submits that the petitioner's second degree paternal uncles Raosaheb Jayram and Vyankat Jayram possess certificates of validity and so does the cousin paternal aunts who are the sisters of Raosaheb and Vyankat. He also points out that Raosaheb's daughter Rutuja has also been directed to be issued with a certificate of validity by the order of this Court in Writ Petition No. 8712/2019, dated 18.07.2019. The learned advocate further submits that the petitioner is ready to adopt the vigilance report and the reply filed thereto by Rutuja. A specific request to that effect has also been made by submitting an application on 04.07.2024.

We dispose of the writ petition with following directions : 1/2

951 WP 7221 24.odt (i) The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 16.07.2024. (ii) The committee shall thereafter decide the proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three weeks.

(iii) The committee may consider the petitioner's request as regards adoption of the reply filed by Rutuja.

(iv) The committee may also consider granting a certificate of validity, subject to which this Court has granted validity to Rutuja. ( SHAILESH P. BRAHME, J.) (MANGESH S. PATIL, J.) mkd/- 2/2
