It is submitted that the petitioners have made applications with the present respondent No. 3 for increase in the intake capacity of the existing colleges. The applications are pending with the respondent No. 3. The respondent No. 3 is required to forward it to respondent No. 1.

We have also heard the learned A.G.P. and Mr. Narwadkar, learned counsel for respondent No. 3.

The respondent No. 3 may process the applications of the petitioners for increase in the intake capacity and forward it as per rules to the respondent No. 1 on or before 25.11.2020. The State Government shall thereafter take decision on the same, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably by 15.12.2020.
