It is submitted by learned Counsel for the petitioner that though Award under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act is passed on 11.08.2015, the payment as per the Award is not yet made.

Mr. Thigale, learned Counsel states that he has no instructions as to the period within which said amount would be paid. Learned Counsel further submits that the Award passed in the reference is subjudice before this Court.

It is stated that there is no order of stay granted to the said Award under reference, pursuant to

( 2 ) wp7380.16 which Award under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act is passed.

Considering the above, we pass following order :- 5.

The respondent shall comply the Award passed under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act in favour of the petitioner and shall make payment as per the said Award within 8 (eight) months.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
