As per the order passed by the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, it is for the Collector to consider the case of the petitioner. There are specific directions issued by the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission. Further, the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission has observed that the Collector may look into the issue and consider the case of the complainant sympathetically.

It is for the Collector to consider the same. The petitioner has, thereafter, approached the Collector by filing application dated 31.08.2016 and 05.12.2017.

In case the said applications are pending with respondent no. 2, then respondent no. 2 shall consider the same on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months. 4.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
