In the light of the clarificatory letter from the Directorate of Technical Education addressed to all the Divisional Offices in the State of Maharashtra, namely, at Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati
*2* wp-9237-2017 and Nagpur, none of the recognized Institutions shall insist on production of the validity certificate.
In the circumstances, the insistence in these cases by Respondent No.3/ Engineering College, respectively, is contrary to this directive. We, therefore, direct Respondent No.3/College to abide by the directives from the Director of Technical Education dated 19.07.2017 and permit the Petitioner/s to continue studies.
This order will mean that the fees should be accepted, the Petitioner/s be enrolled and admitted for further academic sessions/ terms, they should be allowed to appear for examinations, results be declared and even degree certificate be issued, but all this is subject to the pending proceedings before the Scrutiny Committee and the orders made therein.
