The petitioner took voluntary retirement in the year 2006 i.e. on or about 31.10.2006. The petitioner was imposed with the punishment of stoppage of three increments in the year 2000. 2.

Though the petitioner took voluntary retirement in the year 2006, the order of punishment dated 20.12.2000 was not assailed and now after lapse of 21 years the petitioner has approached this Court. The another grievance made is that the grade pay is also not granted to the petitioner, which the petitioner was entitled to in the year 1997. It is further submitted that the increment granted was cancelled by the Headmaster without powers. The management has also agreed that it

The grievance in respect of the same is made in the present writ petition.

It would be too late in the day, now to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition involves disputed questions of facts. The respondents have refused to grant the benefit to the petitioner long back. 5.

In view of that, we are not inclined to enter into merits of the writ petition after lapse of 21 years. The petitioner may prosecute his grievance with authorities if it is permissible under law. 6.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
