Learned advocate for respondent No. 3 and 4 submits that the annual increments for the year 2014, 2015 and 2016 of Rs. 1,07,700/- are already paid to the petitioner. Now the difference amount of 7th Pay Commission which comes to Rs. 1,13,184/- is to be paid by the Government as the petitioner is serving in aided institution.

The Education Officer has held that it is the responsibility of Government to pay the said amount. However, Deputy Director of Education by misinterpreting the order dated Bhagyawant Punde

{2} 922-CP-66-2021 26th June, 2025 passed by this Court, held that Management is liable to pay the said amount.

We make it clear that the Government is required to pay difference amount of 7th Pay Commission i.e. Rs. 1,13,184/-. Said amount shall be paid to the petitioner by Government within 08 weeks from today.

Non payment of aforesaid amount shall be treated as aggravated contempt.

5.

With the above directions, contempt petition stands disposed of.
