Although, the writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the State to initiate the land acquisition proceedings of the petitioner's land taken over by the State, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the acquisition proceedings are concluded and that the file is sent to the Collector for allocation of the funds.

The learned AGP appearing for the State submits that they would conclude the process within a period of two (02) months and would disburse the amounts to the rightful claimants within the said period.

The statement made by the learned AGP is accepted. 5.
