The Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs : - a.
The writ petition may kindly be allowed, with heavy cost.
b.
The prosecution initiated against petitioner as Regular Criminal Case no. 20 / 2003, pending in Hon. Judicial Magistrate, First Class (Railway), Manmad based on CR no.2 / 2002 lodged in Railway Protection Force Post - Ahmadnagar may kindly be quashed and set aside, with further request that petitioner/accused may kindly be discharged from alleged offences.

During pendency of the petition, further proceeding of Regular Criminal Case no. 20 / 2003, pending in Hon. Judicial Magistrate, First

Ad-interim order in terms of Prayer Clause 'c' may be passed.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the Petitioner that he will not go into the merits of the Petition and further submits that the R.C.C. before the trial Court i.e. Railway Court is of the year 2003 and there is no progress in the matter. Only two - three witnesses have been examined. He submits that, appropriate directions for expediting the trial be given.

Only because the R.C.C. is of the year 2003, we direct the Judicial Magistrate First Class (Railway), Manmad, to take the said R.C.C. No. 20/2003 to its logical end as early as possible and preferably within a period of one (1) year.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
