The learned advocate for the respondents submits that certain documents, which were necessary to arrive at the computation of probable loss of agricultural yield due to fire that had taken place due to the over head transmission lines, will have to be submitted by the petitioners. The petitioners have been communicated of the same. The Department is awaiting supply of such documents. The quantum of the compensation can not be calculated merely on the basis of the report dated 18.02.2021 submitted by the Electricity Inspector, Electric Inspection Department, Nanded. He submits that if the petitioners tender the earlier bills of the sugar cane yield, it would assist the Department to calculate the probable loss of agriculture yield and based on that, the compensation amount can be crystallized.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that none of them have the bills with regard to the supply of sugar cane for the agriculture season 2019-2020. They, therefore, seek leave to approach the sugar factory, which was being supplied with sugar cane by these petitioners and after collecting the certified copies of the earlier bills for the agricultural season 2019-2020, they would submit the said bills to respondent no.4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. The petitioners shall submit the certified copies of the bills of supplying agricultural yield (sugar cane) for the agricultural season 2019-2020 to respondent no.4. 4.

After such bills are submitted and if documents, as are necessary, have been made available, respondent no.4 shall process the bills within 30 days and submit the said papers through SAP system (by uploading all the documents online) to the Bombay Office. Bombay office after receipt of such documents, shall quantify the compensation amount within 30 days and ensure that the payment is made to these petitioners thereafter within 15 days.
