The present writ petition takes exception to the order dated 2.4.2025 passed by the Respondent No.4/Tahsildar as well as order dated 16.5.2025 passed by Respondent No.3 Sub Divisional Officer, Shirdi, District Ahilyanagar and order dated 19.6.2025 passed by respondent no.2 i.e. Additional Collector, Shirdi, District Ahilyanagar. It is not in dispute that substantive appeal filed by petitioners under section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 is pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Shirdi vide R.T.S. Appeal No.101 of 2025. The prayer for interim relief has been rejected and therefore petitioners seeks to grant interim relief.

Having considered the submissions advanced, instead of delving deep into merits of the matter, the purpose would be served if R.T.S. Appeal No.101 of 2025 pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Shirdi is decided expeditiously. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of with directions to the Sub Divisional Officer, Shirdi, District Ahilyanagar to decide the pending appeal expeditiously, and, in any case, within a period of 12 (Twelve) weeks from today.
