Leave to correct the description of respondent No.2 as 'District Collector cum District Election Officer'. Correction be carried out forthwith.

The petitioner alleges that, respondent No.3 - Returning Officer, who is under the charge of respondent No.2, has altered the record and committed a fraud to the benefit of respondent No.4 in the Grampanchayat elections for village Pangaon, Tq. Renapur, Dist. Latur. A specific complaint addressed to respondent No.2, dated 21/07/2022, has not been responded to.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 4.

We direct respondent No.2, to consider the grievance of the petitioner as voiced in her application dated 21/07/2022. Needless to state, the District Collector would follow the due procedure laid down in law and if statutorily provided, shall grant an opportunity of hearing to all the litigating parties/stake holders.
