In fact, we would have relegated the petitioner to the alternate remedy. But as only limited prayer is made seeking directions against the respondent No. 2 to decide the proposal submitted by the respondent No. 4 in respect of the petitioner, we have entertained the present writ petition.

Considering the prayer made, we pass following order. 3.

The respondent No. 2 shall decide the proposal (Exhibit - F) on its own merits in accordance with law, policy and rules expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (3) months from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
