VERSUS

The State of Maharashtra & others .. RESPONDENTS Mr. V.D. Sapkal, advocate for petitioners.

Mr. V.J. Dixit, Senior Counsel instructed by Mr. S.V. Dixit, advocate for respondent no. 4.

===== CORAM : R.M. BORDE & P. R. BORA, JJ.

DATE : 20th JULY, 2015 PER COURT :

1.

Petitioners contend that there is contempt committed in disobedience of the directions issued by this Court in Writ Petition No. 3258/2015 since the respondent-State has issued interview calls to the petitioners. It is contended that the action is in disregard to the observations made in paragraph no. 34 of the judgment and the concluding part of order striking down the relevant clause i.e. clause no. 7(1) mandating the existing holders of the post of Government Pleader or Additional Government Pleader etc. to appear before the interview panel. It is not a matter of dispute that call letters have been issued by the State in pursuance to the applications tendered by the applicants. In our view, there is no contempt committed by the State or any of the respondents nor there occurred any cause at present to proceed against them. Contempt petition is rejected. ( P. R. BORA ) ( R.
