The petitioner is armed with a certificate issued under the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Denotified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000 as 'Mahadev Koli' issued by the respondent No. 2competent authority. 3.

It is pointed out by the learned advocate for the petitioner that though the title of this tribe certificate (Exh. '

A') refers to the correct provisions and also the correct form 'C', the contents are not commensurate with the requisite format provided for in the Rules. He submits that he has submitted an online application for corrected tribe certificate (Exhibit ' B').

The Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 to issue tribe certificate to the petitioner in the correct form as expeditiously as possible and in any case on or before 10.07.2023. 5.

Learned A.G.P. shall communicate the order to the respondent No. 2 telephonically/by way of WhatsApp.
