DATE : 30.07.2025 PER COURT :- 1.

The Petitioners are seeking a limited direction to the Respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide their tribe claims expeditiously. It is submitted that there is urgency in the matter, particularly with regard to Petitioner No. 1, who has completed 10+2 and has appeared for the State CET for admission to engineering courses. The registration, as per the State Common Entrance Test Cell, has been completed, and the rounds of admissions are likely to begin soon.

The learned AGP on instructions submits that the Vigilance Cell inquiry is completed and that time period of three months may be required to decide the tribe claim. 3.

We are of the opinion that since there is urgency in the matter, an endeavor shall be made by Respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claims of the Petitioners at the earliest. 4.

In view of above, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claims of the Petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31.08.2025. Pending Civil Applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
