The petitioner has put forth prayer clauses (B) and (C), which read as under :- B) To direct the respondent no.2 to allow the petitioner to appear for MAH-L.L.B. 5 Years (Five Year Integrated Course)-CET 2022 scheduled on 2.08.2022 by issuing hall ticket and doing all other necessary formalities, by issuing a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction as the case may be.

C) To direct the respondent no. 2 to allow the petitioner to appear for MAH-L.L.B. 5 Years (Five Year Integrated Course)-CET 2022 schedule on 2.08.2022, pending hearing and final disposal of this petition."

We have considered the strenuous submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent No.2. The following factors are relevant to this case :- (a) The Maharashtra CET-2022 for the Five years LL.B Course Portal opened on 19/03/2022.

(b) The closing date was 07/04/2022.

(c) An extension was granted till 27/04/2022.

(d) A further extension was granted till 02/05/2022. (e) An another extension was granted till 22/06/2022 and the Portal was closed.

(f) The hall tickets were available online till 15/07/2022. (g) The exams are scheduled on 02/08/2022.

(h) There are nine steps which have to be followed by a candidate while applying online.

(i) The petitioner appears to have completed seven steps. The eighth step is the registration for payment and making such payment.

(j) The ninth step is for taking a printout of registration form and receipt of payment of charges.

(3) (k) The petitioner has not cared to take the 8th and the 9th steps, and therefore, he was unaware, as to whether his payment was registered and as to whether he could have got a printout of the receipt and the application form. (l) The petitioner attempted to seek a hall ticket on 19/07/2022, when the Portal, from which the hall tickets were available and other students have taken printout, was closed on 15/07/2022.

We called upon the learned Advocate for the Authorities dealing with the State Common Entrance Test Cell, as to whether the petitioner could be accommodated. It is stated that, physical applications are not accepted. Cash payment of the fees are not accepted. Application forms have to be filled in online and payment of amount has to be done online. Even hall tickets are to be issued online. The Portal is now closed and cannot be opened. 4.

In view of the above, this petition cannot be entertained and is, therefore, dismissed.
