DATE : 07.12.2020 P.C. :- The petition is filed for giving direction to the respondents to register crime on the basis of complaint dated 11.06.2020. This Court directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to make out a case for notice. This Court has gone through the allegations made in so called complaint. 2.

The allegations are mainly made against Ujjwala who is the wife of brother of applicant. It appears that some litigation is going on between Uijwala and her husband. She has filed proceeding under the Domestic Violence Act. It appears that in the said proceeding order of maintenance is made in favour of Ujjwala. The amount which Ujjwala will be required to pay to the landlord for getting house on rent basis. It is the contention of the

( 2 ) 31 cri wp 1403.20 petitioner that Ujjwala is defaming his family and she has used forged documents like rent note which is shown to be signed by Sagar Kale. Sagar Kale did not approach police. Other allegations would at the most amount to defamation and under the provisions of Section 500 of the I.P.C. a private complaint needs to be filed.
