The learned counsel submits that the caste claim is pending for verification with the scrutiny committee since the year 2014. However, it is realized that the caste certificate is issued with the wrong spelling of the caste. The committee may not be in a position to decide the caste claim of the petitioner finally on the basis of such certificate.

The petitioner shall apply to the committee for issuance of attested copy of the caste certificate submitted by the petitioner. The committee shall within a period of four days from the receipt of the application issue the attested caste certificate to the petitioner. The petitioner on receipt on the attested copy of caste certificate from the committee shall apply with the S.D.O.

WP No.9244/2021 Nanded for issuance of corrected tribe certificate. S.D.O. shall within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the application issue the corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner. Upon receipt of the same the corrected tribe certificate be submitted to the scrutiny committee.

The learned counsel submits that the petitioner intended to appear for CET exam. It would not be possible to issue positive directions to committee to decide it within a stipulated period, however, the petitioner may request the committee for deciding the proceeding expeditiously, which request the committee may consider.

With these observations, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
