Per Court:
.
The Additional Chief Secretary, PWD, has filed affidavit-inreply stating therein that the works have been commenced in terms of the directions issued by this Court in Writ Petition No.9421 of 2022.
991-993 CP.411.2023 ORS.odt Our attention has been adverted to page No.73 of the affidavit, which contains a chart giving details about the work in progress and budgetary provision therefor.
The learned counsel for petitioners has a grievance that the State has not made any budgetary provision and it may be an eyewash. The affidavit-in-reply has been filed specifically stating therein that all the works have again been resumed making budgetary provision therefor and some of the works are at initial stage for which tenders have been floated. In some of the matters, work orders have already been issued.
In the light of the said affidavit, we dispose of these contempt petitions with a rider to revive them, if the learned counsel for petitioners comes before us complaining that the works are not completed as stated in the affidavit or no budgetary provision is made therefor.
