PER COURT :- The scrutiny committee directed invalidation of the caste certificate issued to the petitioner, merely on the ground that the description of the caste is wrongly spelt i.e. instead of Bhil, the caste is recorded as Bhill in the caste certificate. The typographical or inadvertent error needs to be corrected. On submission of photostat/certified copy of the caste certificate, the concerned, Sub Divisional Officer shall issue fresh caste certificate recording the caste of the petitioner as Bhil. The petitioner may tender an application to the scrutiny committee for issuance of the photostat/true copy of the certificate produced by him for verification and on receipt of application, the scrutiny committee

{2} WP 8109.16.odt shall issue true/certified copy of the certificate within seven days. The caste certificate received by the petitioner from the competent authority shall be submitted to the scrutiny committee on its receipt within a period of four days along with proposal in prescribed proforma. It would be open for the petitioner to submit proposal directly to the scrutiny committee and the scrutiny committee shall take decision on the claim in respect of verification of the certificate, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of proposal.

With the directions as above, the writ petition is disposed of. In the meanwhile, no adverse action be taken against the petitioner on the ground of his failure to submit validation certificate.
