The proposal submitted for appointment of the Revenue Officer i.e. Talathi for village Hasalgan is approved and the communication dated 26.07.2018 refers that proposal was submitted by the Tahsildar on 22.05.2018 and this proposal is submitted by Tahsildar was accordingly accepted and allowed. Though the petitioner prays that direction be issued to appoint an independent officer for revenue village Devtala (Vasantnagar), only the provisions of the Code clearly show that the revenue officer can be appointed for one village or a group of villages. As such, in the order passed by the authority is in consonance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The document is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.
