We have heard the learned advocate for the petitioners, learned AGP for respondents/State, the learned advocates for respondent No.2 and Mr. Killarikar, learned advocate for respondent No.3. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner/s appear to be that, the service books are not completed and the pay fixation as per the benefits of 7th pay commission is also not done.

It is not disputed that, the petitioners in WP No.9457/2021 have retired from service and the petitioner in WP No.9418/2021 is in service with respondent No.3 - School.

The respondent No.3 shall, within a period of three weeks from today, complete the service book and forward it to the Education Officer. The respondent No.3 shall also, within a period of three weeks, forward the proposal for the pay fixation as per the 7th pay commission and other consequential benefits to the Education Officer. 5.

The Education Officer shall, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipts of the service book and the proposal from the respondent No.3 of pay fixation as per 7th pay commission, take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits and communicate the decision to the parties.

Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
