Learned advocate for the applicant submits that this Court has granted compensation amounts to several employees in view of the judgment dated 23/07/2015, in a group of Writ Petitions. Under paragraph No. 23 on internal page No. 24 of the judgment of this Court, the applicant Deelip is shown to have been appointed on 15/02/1984 and his termination is 28/10/1984. In a motion for speaking to the minutes, this court has allowed the said motion by order dated 09/10/2015 and the date of appointment of Deelip Ramprasad Mehra is corrected as 15/02/1982. Subsequently, he would be entitled for compensation for a total amount of Rs. 70,000/-. 2.

Learned advocate appears on behalf of

respondent/Management and does not dispute that the appointment of Deelip is dated 15/02/1982.

Considering the above, this Civil Application is allowed and the applicant shall be entitled for a total compensation of Rs. 70,000/- out of which he has received Rs. 20,000/-. The said compensation shall, therefore, be paid by the Respondent/Municipal Council to the applicant within six weeks from today. If the said payment is not made within six months, the amount shall carry interest at the rate of 9 % p.a. from the date of this order.
