We have heard Mr Gaware, learned Advocate for the petitioners.

The learned AGP raises a preliminary objection that the petitioners have an alternate remedy of appeal. 3.

Mr Gaware, learned Advocate submits that the earlier report of the Tahsildar has been ignored. The Tahsildar had come to the conclusion that the entire amount is paid.

As the petitioners have an alternate remedy of appeal, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petitions. The Writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the remedy of appeal. Naturally, all the contentions of the petitioners and the earlier report of the Tahsildar would be considered by the appellate Authority. All the contentions are kept open. No costs. ( R. N.
